Christy McMannen defends individuals, companies and insurance carriers in personal injury and wrongful death cases involving premises liability, automobile and trucking accidents, products liability, property damages, bad faith, and general liability. Christy has also served as in-house counsel at a Louisiana oil and gas services firm, supervising preparation of title abstracts and lease forms in advance of oil and gas exploration activities. Drawing on this experience, Christy became licensed Louisiana Title Insurance Producer and litigated claims asserted against insureds of title insurance policies. Christy also serves on the firm’s recruitment committee.

Christy graduated from the University of Virginia with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Government and Women's Studies. She obtained a Juris Doctor degree from Tulane Law School, where she served as Senior Notes and Comments Editor of the Tulane Maritime Law Journal.  While in law school, Christy also clerked for the Honorable Edwin Lombard of the Louisiana Fourth Circuit Court of Appeal.

Prior to law school, Christy taught algebra and geometry at a high school in New Orleans as a corps member for Teach for America.
