Carter has tried numerous cases to decision, in both state and federal courts.  His practice focuses on product liability litigation, aircraft disasters, commercial disputes, professional malpractice, and defense of ethics complaints.  Carter represents both corporate and individual clients inside and outside Louisiana.  A native of New Orleans, Carter joined Christovich & Kearney in 2002, after receiving his Juris Doctor and Bachelor of Civil Law degrees from Louisiana State University. He attended Hampden-Sydney College, where he received his Bachelor of Arts degree in 1997.

Carter is admitted to practice law in the states of Louisiana and Texas; is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court; the Fifth and Seventh Circuit Courts of Appeals of the United States; and is admitted to the United States District Courts for the Eastern, Middle, and Western Districts of Louisiana, the Northern District of Florida, and the Southern District of Indiana.
