Bill Christovich was an active trial attorney who appeared in trials in the state courts of Louisiana in more than 20 parishes as well as in all federal courts in the state. His areas of concentration were products liability, medical and legal malpractice and maritime. He represented numerous law firms in professional responsibility disputes, as well as numerous physicians and hospitals.
Mr. Christovich appeared regularly on the faculties of continuing legal education seminars for the Louisiana State Bar Association, Tulane University, Loyola University and the Louisiana Association of Defense Counsel. In 1995, he received the Curtis R. Boisfontaine Award for Excellence in Trial Advocacy from the Louisiana State Bar Association, and earlier received the Service Award from The Defense Research Institute. He has been listed in “The Best Lawyers in America” since the inception of that publication. He is a past president of the International Association of Defense Counsel. Mr. Christovich also served as managing partner of the firm for several years.
