Mary Beth Meyer joined Christovich & Kearney in 1998, where she practices civil litigation. Ms. Meyer has represented clients in a variety of areas, including products liability, railroad, casualty, environmental, insurance, maritime, professional malpractice, commercial and contract litigation. Ms. Meyer is a graduate of the University of Missouri and received her Juris Doctor degree in 1987, from the University of Alabama. Ms. Meyer began practicing law in New Orleans in 1989, after serving as law clerk for the Honorable William M. Acker, Jr., U.S. District Judge for the Northern District of Alabama.
Ms. Meyer previously served as the firm’s liaison with the New Orleans Pro Bono Project and has volunteered for many years as an Officer and Director of VIALink, which operates the 2-1-1 call center providing crisis intervention and social service information and referral services to area residents in partnership with the United Way of Greater New Orleans.
