Terry Gay is a partner at Christovich & Kearney and received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Sweet Briar College in 1973, with honors in English and her Juris Doctor degree from Loyola University in 1976. After joining C&K in 1976, she has concentrated her practice in drug and device litigation, products liability and medical defense. She is experienced in class action and mass tort litigation and was regional counsel for an orthopedic bone screw manufacturer in multi-district litigation for six years, regional counsel for a breast implant manufacturer for eight years and regional counsel for a pharmaceutical company in the Fen-Phen litigation. She successfully defended a class action complaint in air bag litigation for an automobile manufacturer and also represents regionally a wireless phone company in a cell phone case. She has defended many physicians in medical malpractice actions over the years.

Ms. Gay served as President of the New Orleans Association of Defense Counsel, and as an executive committee member of the International Association of Defense Counsel. She is an active member of The Defense Research Institute.

She is listed in The Best Lawyers in America (Personal Injury and Products Liability), Louisiana Super Lawyers (Personal Injury Defense: Products) and Who's Who Legal, The International Who's Who of Business Lawyers (Products Liability).
