JAMES F. HOLMES   Partner

Jim Holmes received a Bachelor of Arts degree from University of Notre Dame in 1963, and a Juris Doctor from Tulane University in 1966, and joined Christovich & Kearney that same year. In his many years of practice, he has represented clients in major litigation in both federal and state courts throughout Louisiana. His practice is primarily in the fields of maritime, environmental, and commercial litigation. He has been lead counsel in major offshore litigation, as well as environmental, class action, and fire and explosion litigation.

Mr. Holmes has served as the president of both the New Orleans Association of Defense Counsel and the Louisiana Association of Defense Counsel.
