COMMUNITY AND PROFESSIONAL INVOLVEMENT

Christovich & Kearney believes that professional and volunteer involvement benefits the community as well as our attorneys and staff. The firm actively participates in various civic, educational and charitable organizations and activities. We give our time and build professional relationships in order to better serve our clients, our community and our profession.

COMMUNITY SERVICE & INVOLVEMENT
The firm’s attorneys and staff volunteer their time and give their support to a variety of educational and community social service organizations and activities throughout the year.

The Alvin R. Christovich Endowed Professorship
To commemorate the 75th anniversary of Alvin R. Christovich's graduation from law school, the firm along with the Christovich and Kearney families established The Alvin R. Christovich Endowed Professorship at Loyola University School of Law. This endowment was created to advance defense trial practice, legal professionalism and ethical standards.

The Pro Bono Project
The firm’s attorneys volunteer their time and experience by serving on the board and participating in The Pro Bono Project, a non-profit organization of volunteer attorneys who represent indigent clients in civil matters. The Pro Bono Project is committed to providing full access to our justice system for these citizens. Christovich & Kearney has been a sponsor of the Pro Bono Project’s annual fundraiser, Justice for All Ball.

United Way

Christovich & Kearney and its employees have generously supported the United Way for many years.

Secret Santa Project

Every Christmas the firm participates in the "Secret Santa" program of the Louisiana State Bar Association / Louisiana Bar Foundation providing gifts, toys and clothes to disadvantaged children.

PROFESSIONAL SERVICE & INVOLVEMENT:
Christovich & Kearney serves the legal profession by actively participating in professional organizations and activities and presenting continuing legal education courses and client seminars and workshops. The attorney biographical section lists memberships in professional organizations, but special note should be taken of the leadership roles held by members of the firm throughout the years.
