Marcus K. Pierre joined Christovich & Kearney, LLP as an associate attorney in 2024 where he practices in the areas of general insurance defense, casualty, premises liability and workers’ compensation.

Marcus earned his Juris Doctorate from Tulane University Law School in the spring of 2018. While attending Tulane, Marcus honed his skills as an oral advocate, becoming a member of the John R. Brown Admiralty Moot Court team, and was inducted into the Order of the Barristers. He was also a member of Tulane’s Maritime Law Journal. Upon graduating from Tulane, Marcus practiced maritime law before transitioning into workers’ compensation defense. Marcus has extensive experience conducting discovery, taking depositions, engaging in motion practice, and advocating before the court.

Marcus is a native New Orleanian, graduated from the Lusher Charter High School in 2009, and attended Davidson College in Davidson, North Carolina, where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology in 2013.
